![Tit' Pom']()
It's been a long, long time since we've come across anything as beautiful as this French primary school book written by R. Jacquenet.
Published in 1964 by Classiques Hachette, Tit'Pom' is a collection of stories about Jean, familiarly known as Petite Pomme or Tit'Pom, on account of his chubby, rosy cheeks.
Tit'Pom lives in the mountains, providing M. Grimaud with a perfect opportunity to demonstrate his talent for illustrating alpine flora and fauna. Every single colour illustration is delightful.
The book itself is in very good condition. It is a specimen copy and has a stamp on the first page along with a small mark where a label appears to have been. It doesn't look as if the book has ever been read. The pages are very clean, but yellowing with age, and the spine is tight. Some wear to front and back hardcover.
A rare collector's book offering 189 pages of charming illustrations.
The book measures 22.5 x 18.5 cm.
